چکیده
\ comparative study by White, White, and Mider (8) of the effect of a restriction of cystine, lysine, and tryptophane in the diet of dba mice showed that the development of methylcholanthrene-induced leukemia was inhibited by a re striction in cystine but was unaffected by a re striction in the essential amino acids, lysine, and tryptophane. A previous study by White and Andervont (7) showed that the restriction of dietary cystine completely inhibited the formation of spontaneous mammary cancer in C3H mice and that mice on a high-cyst ine diet developed mam mary cancer in the same proportion as C3H mice on a Purina Dog ('how diet. The effect of added dietary tryptophane on the occurrence of 2-acetylaminofluorene-induced liver and bladder cancer in rats.
Recent reports by Bielschowsky (1), Harris (6), Engel and Copeland (5), Strombeck and Ekman (10), and Morris et al. (7), indicate that the genetic constitution of the rat plays a more dominant role than diet in the initiation of 2-acetylaminofluorene-induced neoplasms. While liver tumors occur in a majority of the rats and the frequency is altered somewhat by the protein content of the diet, th...

Background: Antipsychotic drugs are medications used to treat schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. Antipsychotic drugs can cause unwanted side effects. Hyperprolactinemia is an important but neglected adverse effect. The aim of the this study was to consider the effects of Chlropromazine -induced hyperprolactinaemia on mammary glands of female rats . Materials and Methods: In this study...
متن کاملInvestigation of p53 and p27 expressions in the N-nitroso-N-methylureainduced breast cancer in female Wistar Albino rats
Introduction: N-nitroso-N-methylurea (NMU) is a carcinogen from nitrosamines family, which has been used to induce breast cancer in rodents. This model of breast cancer is very similar to the estrogen dependent breast cancer in human. As a continuation of our recent works, in the present study, the expressions of both p53 and p27 were investigated in NMU-induced breast cancer in Wistar Albin...
